TV Wall Mounting in Toronto and the GTA

A wall mounted TV should look like it was part of the room from the beginning: centred, level, at a height that is comfortable from where you actually sit, with no cables hanging down the wall. Getting there takes more than a drill. It takes knowing what is behind the wall, choosing hardware rated for the weight of the screen, and planning where the power and media cables will run before the first hole is made.

XProTech has been installing displays across Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area for over 15 years, in everything from downtown condo towers with poured concrete walls to century homes in Leslieville with plaster and brick, to new suburban builds in Milton and Whitby framed in standard 16-inch centres. That range matters, because the correct approach on one wall is the wrong approach on another.

We handle fixed, tilting, and full-motion mounts, fireplace installations, Frame and gallery-style TVs, condo installs, and multi-screen commercial layouts. Wire concealment, soundbar mounting, and device setup can be added to any booking.

Mount types matter more than most people expect. A fixed mount sits closest to the wall and suits a screen placed directly across from the sofa. A tilting mount adds a few degrees of downward angle and is the usual choice for a slightly higher placement or an above-fireplace install. A full-motion mount lets you pull the screen out and swing it toward a kitchen, dining area, or second seating zone, which is why it is popular in open-concept condos across Toronto.

Frame TV and gallery-style installations use a slim recessed bracket so the screen sits almost flush with the wall, and they usually pair with a recessed outlet so nothing shows below the frame. Commercial installations often use higher placements, heavier-duty brackets, and longer cable runs into a cabinet or IT closet.

Wherever the TV goes, we finish the job the same way: level screen, tidy cables, tested devices, and a clean floor. If you also want the wires hidden inside the wall, add wire concealment to the booking and we will complete both in the same visit.

TV Wall Mounting FAQs

How much does TV wall mounting cost in Toronto?

TV wall mounting may start from $79.50 depending on TV size and service type. Mount type, wall material, wire concealment, and add-ons such as soundbar mounting affect the final price. We give you a clear range before booking so there are no surprises.

What height should a TV be mounted at?

Because wall type and TV size change the work involved. Once you tell us the screen size, wall material, city, and whether you want wires hidden, the range narrows to a firm number in most cases.

Can you mount a TV without studs?

Yes. On drywall without usable studs we use heavy-duty toggle anchors rated for the display weight, and on concrete or brick we use masonry anchors. We assess the wall first and only proceed with a fixing method that safely supports your TV.

Do you supply TV mounts?

We can supply a fixed, tilting, or full-motion bracket suited to your screen size, or install a bracket you already own. Let us know your TV size and model when you book so the correct hardware arrives with the technician.

How long does a TV installation take?

A standard drywall mount usually takes 45 to 90 minutes. Add roughly an hour for in-wall wire concealment, masonry drilling, fireplace placement, or a soundbar, and two to four hours for a full home theater setup.
