Frame TV and Gallery TV Installation in Toronto and the GTA

A Frame TV costs more than a comparable conventional display for one reason: it is meant to look like a picture rather than a screen. That effect only survives if the installation is done to the same standard. A half-inch gap at the wall or a visible cable running to a baseboard outlet undoes the entire concept.

XProTech installs Frame and gallery-style TVs flush to the wall across Toronto and the GTA, using the slim-fit bracket, a recessed outlet, and concealed one-connect cabling so the screen looks like framed art.

We install using the slim-fit bracket supplied with the display so the panel sits almost flush against the wall. The screen is centred to the wall or to the furniture below, depending on which reference line reads better in the room, and levelled precisely.

The cable is the other half of the job. Gallery displays typically use a single thin connection cable to a separate box. We install a recessed outlet and low-profile media plate behind the screen and route the cable inside the wall to the box location, so nothing is visible from any angle.

If the display is going on a gallery wall with framed art, tell us before installation. Deciding the screen’s exact position relative to the surrounding frames first produces a far better composition than hanging the TV and arranging art around it afterwards.

Frame TV installation pairs well with wire concealment and soundbar installation, and we can complete all of it in one visit anywhere in Toronto and the GTA.

Frame TV / Gallery TV Installation FAQs

How flush does a Frame TV sit on the wall?

With the supplied slim-fit bracket the panel typically sits within a fraction of an inch of the wall, which is what creates the framed-artwork look. Achieving it requires a flat mounting surface and a recessed outlet behind the screen.

Do you install the recessed outlet?

Yes. We install a recessed low-profile plate behind the display and route the connection cable inside the wall so no cable is visible from any viewing angle, on drywall walls where routing is possible.

Can a Frame TV be mounted on concrete?

Yes, with masonry anchors. The cable usually cannot be routed inside a poured concrete wall, so we use a slim paintable raceway or route along an adjacent drywall section where one exists.

Will you set up art mode?

Yes. We configure art mode, brightness and motion sensor behaviour, and the matte or frame settings so the display looks its best in your room’s lighting before we hand it over.

Can you hang art around the TV?

We can plan the screen position to suit a gallery wall layout and align it with your intended composition. Tell us the plan when booking so the screen height and centre line work with the surrounding frames.
